Sorry about the double post, but it's been almost a month! Anyone watching?
I wasn't too crazy about the first episode, but the second one rocked. I thought Gordon was rather dull at first but he's starting to grow on me. Moony Fish or whatever is too over the top, but she and Gordon's partner are pretty entertaining.
Catgirl (13? No way!) and the Penguin are stealing the show for me. And Alfred, too! He's awesome.

I'm trying to get into this show, but... Ben McKenzie is not really doing it for me. He's perfectly OK, I just find myself occasionally thinking "I wish they'd cast somebody else." I'm not sure who, though.

I like Ben McKenzie well enough, but Donal Logue helps a lot. Last night, I thought they should have let Barbara be killed, since she was stupid enough to come back to town and try to reason with a mobster.

I'm watching for Penguin. Me too! They started off trying to get the audience to guess who is going to be the Joker but I don't care. For me Cobblepot is the guy who makes the show. He's a fun, engaging, clever, and dangerous character. Love him. |
