Last night, I thought they should have let Barbara be killed, since she was stupid enough to come back to town and try to reason with a mobster. OMG, yes. I was totally Team Bullock during that exchange -- like, he's GOT to be bluffing, there's no way Barbara was stupid enough to come back. Sigh.

I've never seen a Batman movie but I love this show. I caught the first episode by accident. I love the set. The grey city. Beautiful visually. Robin Lord Taylor who play Penguin is the breakout star.He owns every scene he's in.I've never seen Ben McKenzie in his old shows but he's pretty hot. He's aged well. And I get a kick out of Harvey and his one liners. Him saying "What's Altruism?" Cracked me up.

Speaking of Barbara....do you guys remember in the old Adam West Batman series that Barbara Gordon was Jim Gordon's daughter and Batgirl? I loved Batgirl! I predict Barbara on Gotham will get knocked up, give birth, die, her daughter will be named "Barbara" after her and will join the fight against crime in Gotham to avenge her mother. Or not.

This was my immediate thought when Barbara was introduced on Gotham.
"How are they going to kill her and still have a daughter named after her, who will grow up to be Batgirl?"
I predict that the uneasy alliance between Cobblepot and Gordon will be destroyed when Cobblepot is (maybe inadvertently) responsible for Barbara's late-term death.
They better hurry, too, Batgirl isn't THAT much younger than Batman...
Also: I loved Yvonne Craig's Batgirl, too. But probably for totally different reasons...

I am enjoying this show. I am really watching for Cobblepot and Cat girl. No one has mentioned Fish. Awful, awful, awful. Cannot stand her. Jada not Fish.

Still watching and loving the show more and more each week!
If that was the future Joker tonight, wow, that kid really nailed it. Creepy!
Loved drunk Barbara hanging out with Selina and Ivy. They're all about the same age, really. Actually, no, the girls are more mature.
Dr. Morena is just too good to be true. She has to be an undercover villain, right?

Young Joker plays Ian on Shameless. He is amazing on that show as well and honestly, everyone should be watching Shameless. It is so freaking good.

I don't watch Gotham (yet), but I this article about Robin Lord Taylor was pretty neat. Iowa will take any claim to fame it can get!
