It was a good mid-season finale. I'm still working out the timeline in my head, but think I figured it out. I'm trying to figure out if she went to Nate before or after discovering the body. Because if she went after, she is my hero. Not only did she get laid, but she orchestrated the disposal of her husband's body too.

I thought she visited Nate to help set up her alibi?

I thought she visited Nate to help set up her alibi? Yeah, that's what I worked out in my head, too. She found the body, left so Wes could dispose of it and went to Nate to have an alibi (including all her calls to him).

I can't link on my phone, but Tom and Lorenzo have an awesome recap of the episode that puts all of Annalise's actions into perspective. She's an evil genius.

I thought she visited Nate to help set up her alibi? And break herself off a piece of that fiiiiiiiiine man. ( but they are still terrible adulterers)

I don't get how Wes is a psychopath, except that he was cool on the outside. I think everything he did after leaving the house was what Annalise told him to do, it's why he lied on the coin toss; he knew they had to get rid of the body. She could have pat him on the head at the end, "good boy."
Annalise went to Nate to give herself an alibi, also she kept calling Sam in front of Nate, and acted like she was scared and worried.
I kind of felt something when Annalise left that long message to Sam. After what he said to her, there's no way I'd go back to a man like that. What he said to her was ugly.
However when the dumpster took away the bags, I saw something fall out. I think it was Michaela's ring.
I don't mind a show with unlikable characters, it's not like I have to deal with them in real life.

I didn't see anything fall out of the garbage bag, but having it be the ring is awfully convenient. Unless a bunch of things fell out and the ring was among them. At least the ring isn't by Sam's charred remains.
Anyone think Wes is Annalise's (long-lost) son or something similarly soapy?

If I had been one of those law students, not Wes or Rebecca, I would have called 911 as soon as he went over the stairs. They had reason to be in the house, it was their workplace. Whatever was going on with Sam and Rebecca was nothing to do with them. Now they are all involved in murder and cover up.
Annalise has these people wrapped around her finger. Look how fast Bonnie left Asher's after Annalise called her. She'd just been fired the night before!

I was glad when it was revealed that Annalise was in on it, because her wanting to go back to him after what he said and did to her was too pathetic. This is way better.

Viola should win the Oscar for this. I know it is television, but that is my story and I am sticking to it.
That being said, when did a mid-season finale thing start? I lived outside the U.S. for a long time and watched most shows online (and still do), so I was not happy that the show won't be back until 29 January. Is this normal for all shows? No wonder people don't watch network telly as much.
Also, there were three commercial breaks in the first 30 minutes. Thanks, deregulation. It ruins the flow of the show so much.
Sorry, I am a crank about this type of thing. Bitter, party of one!
