MARVEL's Agent Carter

If Paul Lee (head of ABC) holds to form, Agent Carter and Galavant may come back to fill in space while some of ABC's other hit shows take a breather in Jan/Feb. It's a way to keep good shows on the air 1-2 days a week (even though ratings are terrible). Galavant's only on for 4 weeks in January, and Agent Carter has 8 episodes.

It will all depend on the pilots they pick up, and where they can squeeze them into the schedule. But PL is a huge fan of both these shows, so I hope they can get some love.

Agent Carter is going to tie in to Marvel phase 3. It's not going anywhere for awhile. If any show is in danger because Marvel is no longer relevant to the MCU, it's Agents of SHIELD.

I loved the premiere. I've missed Peggy & Jarvis working and quipping together. I lmao at Bernard and Ana. She's perfect. So good to see Peggy have positive female relationships.

Sousa is gone. So so gone. I was a bit confused. Did something happen between them during the hiatus and he bolted to LA or...she was still mourning Steve, Daniel left, and Peggy missed him when he was gone? I need to know because those two...the emotions and the attraction were very strong.

OTOH, what is up with Violet? She was really nice, but I was legit suspicious of her. Not sure if that's because of the character she plays on Into the Bandland or she's too good to be true.

Dr. Wilkes is hot, sweet, and I'd be all for Peggy dating him. Alas...what happened to him? Where'd the brother go?

ETA: I forgot Thompson and Dottie. Fix this, Jesus. Do not put Dottie with that wet rag. While it was amusing to see her school him, I need Dottie out there stalking Peggy, not locked up in NYC.

I kinda wondered what happened with Sousa too. I strongly suspect that it's a case of bad timing, because in season one he kinda asked Peggy out a couple times and she turned him down because she was still mourning Steve. I assume he left to go run the West Coast office shortly after the events of season one, and I'm guessing in large part to get away from Peggy so he could move on and not just for the promotion, just as Peggy was letting go of Steve and was ready to see someone again (hence calling Sousa). The move to the opposite coast and the fast-moving relationship with the new girlfriend/almost fiance reeks of someone trying to leave an old painful love behind, but thanks to Thompson, he's going to fail miserably.

I'm pretty sure Thompson is going to biff this Dottie thing, and she will find a way to escape and go after Peggy. Thompson always screws up when he tries to sideline Peggy.

There was no body, so I'm assuming Dr. Wilkes will be back. I just hope he isn't all twisted and evil or something when he does return.

I figure the "FBI" guy is in cahoots with Hydra, the Committee, & working with Dottie. The corruption will come to light and lead to the formation of SHIELD. I also think Dr. Wilkes is a bad guy.

I'm a little freaked out that Princess Mary Tudor is now Nurse Violet. Also a baddie, but hey, when your parents break up like Henry & Katherine did, you're bound to have issues.

Does anyone know where I may purchase Peggy's completely awesome red sunglasses?

I MUST HAVE THEM.


*I did find a reasonable facsimile at Forever 21, but they were about $5.00 and I worry about the quality of lens at that price. I would like awesome red sunglasses that provide some actual UV protection.

Thank you! I think I've found them - they appear to be Celine "bevel round" sunglasses.

Now the challenge seems to be finding them in red, which no one seems to have! Although the tortoiseshell isn't bad
