Hej mojogirl! I didn't know you were a Ballardite! I work down on Shilshole. Had lunch at Hattie's Hat today. Oh those wedding pictures. I could hear my late Norwegian grandmother muttering "Uff da...." in my ear. Yes I've lived here for 12 years now, I attend a verrrry Norwegian Lutheran church, and my son was actually the drummajor for Ballard HS for the last two years. Do I lose my Ballard passport if I admit I've never been to Hattie's Hat? lol

Do I lose my Ballard passport if I admit I've never been to Hattie's Hat? lol I drive by a couple of Ballard Lutheran churches on my way to and from work. Lovely old brick buildings. Hattie's Hat is one of those bucket-list greasy spoons that one must visit at least once, before their landlord inevitably sells to a developer and tears the place down. Though HH's may be losing their greasy spoon cred by charging $16 for an omelet. Kinda like Beth's.
