Is anyone else watching this new show from Netflix? It stars Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini with Sissy Spacek and Sam Shepard by the creators of Damages? It is about a family that owns a hotel/resort in one of the Florida Keys and about family dysfunction/mystery once the black sheep brother, Danny, comes home.
The show was perfectly cast especially the actor playing Danny. The guy just reeks of loser in this role.
I have so many questions/discussions I want to have about this show and no one seems to be watching it except me. I also want to know if they are committed to a season 2 because I really want to know what happens to the Rayburn family next.

This is the first I'm hearing about this show, but I love Sissy Spacek, Sam Shepard, and Kyle Chandler! This is definitely a binge waiting to happen.

Hubby just put this on our Netflix watch list yesterday, so we'll be getting to it soon.

Excellent. It starts off a bit slow but the acting and scenery were so impressive that I didn't care.

I've finished episode four and to me that's where thing are really getting started. I liked the first three, too, but I can see why a lot of people find it slow. Ben Mendelsohn is seriously stealing this entire show. He's so freaking good. I held my breath during the last scene of episode four, it was so unbearably tense and he was incredible.

The cast is enough for me to give it a try. I've still got to finish House of Cards, though.

TTMR says "It was good, definitely not great. It was kind of like 'The Killing.' The foundation was good for an interesting story but they rushed too much at the end. I gave it three out of five stars."

I just finished episode 5. I am in deep...it reminds me in a lot of ways of True Detective, a slow burn that keeps accelerating. I agree that the first episode was a little slow but it has picked up each episode and is now spectacular. I came for Kyle Chandler, but wow, as mentioned above, Ben Mendelsohn is knocking it out of the park. Linda Cardellini is also excellent. I wish there were a forum on Previously.Tv to discuss because I need to break down each episode and glean what i've missed.
