Gwendoline Christie in Rick Owens at the SAG awards. I love this but apparently it's a love it or hate it look. It's certainly an improvement on Jesus!Brienne from the Emmys.

It's certainly an improvement on Jesus!Brienne from the Emmys. No, it's not! And she moved as if she was smuggling 3 people under that dress.

Fantastic matte red lip and I love how the makeup artist put a little highlighter in the middle of her lower waterline. Really opens her eye up

I love it, but it's definitely NOT an improvement over her papal vestments. I think I wish her hair was flicked back behind her shoulders, though.

I have always liked how she owns her size and embraces her ability to be imposing. But that doesn't mean she needs to be a walking spectacle all the time.

It's not my favorite look of hers, but I always give bonus points to a woman who is not afraid to take up as much room as possible and doesn't try to downplay her height/size. I just love that she's all, "Well, I'm already a million feet tall, might as well put a pannier under this dress and take up as much room as possible horizontally as well. No, sir, you will move to the side."

All it takes is a little flick of the wrist to move your bag sideways, and people scatter to get out of its way. Instead of banging into your shoulder.

I don't watch Game of Thrones so I've only ever seen her in Star Wars, but I still like and admire her for being so comfortable with her height. As a fellow tall gal I think she's setting a great example.

I give her props for going, "I'm tall, I own it, let's just shoot the works." Much better than that old shibboleth of tall ladies having to wear flats so you don't intimidate guys.
