Very interesting. She is very successful as a model, so big props to her for walking away in her prime, so to speak. I saw a preview for Paper Towns and to me she seemed like she was better than Kristen Stewart or even Shailene Woodley in the same sorts of roles. I think she has some potential.

Can't see her name without hearing Reese Witherspoon in my head drawling "dayy-lahh-vig-neee". Hee hee.

I find her incredibly plain. Even on the runway. She seems to be trying so very, very hard.

I find her incredibly plain. Even on the runway. She seems to be trying so very, very hard. In some photos she looks stunningly beautiful, but in others not so much. Her jawline isn't as defined as most models. In some photos she appears to have a double chin which is odd since she's a very thin person. Seems like she has to have a lot of makeup on to draw out her jawline.

I don't have an opinion on her looks one way or another, but she is a TERRIBLE runway model. Her walk is awful. I found some of her print work very striking, though.

My grandmother who was maybe 100 lbs. had a double chin. I am always self-conscious about it. Oh, topic! There you are. I am going to be the lone dissenter and say that I do not like her eyebrows. They kept distracting me during the Paper Towns preview.

I've seen a few unretouched shots of her out and about, and you almost would not think it is her.
I'm curious if she has ever taken an acting class or had an acting coach.
eta: Now, I don't follow models that much, but I don't see her that much either. I think I saw her on an lcd ad in Timesquare, and occasionally here and there, but not that much to justify her as being super successful, as a model.
I doubt that she will go very far as most models don't transition to acting So well, but there have been exceptions. We will see what the boxoffice is like for suicide squad.

She is indeed super successful as a model, and is probably the most successful and widely known one of her generation. She has been the face of over 20-something campaigns, including H&M, Chanel, Burberry, and Stella McCartney. She's also been on the cover for a ton of magazines, including Vogue.
Lots of models transition into acting (Sharon Stone, Jamie King, Elizabeth Hurley, Monica Belucci, Sybil Shepherd, Cameron Diaz were all models first), and she's well connected and charismatic, so I could see her having a career. But who knows.

But most of the models who successfully transition weren't that big/known as models first. Remember Cindy Crawford and Fair Game? Yes, yes she was.
