I think I want to know why Jake Gyllenhaal is there? That’s random unless he is friends with the groom. Which is quite possible.

Dating since November, last minute wedding, I give it 15 months.
See y’all in this thread when they announce the split!

Should we make a Google doc where we can go in and each list our predicted length of marriage? That would make it easier to hand out prizes when the big D is announced.

And for the second time tonight I find myself in the Ho-leeee Shit camp. Gonna go check out the divorce predictions thread now. I love you, Amy, but damn girl. Hope there was a good pre-nup!

I think 9 months.
And that dress is really unflattering.

What is she thinking? How does she not know better? What's the rush?

Is she pregnant? That is an oddly rushed timeframe. Well, she is 36. I don't know if this is a love to last for the ages, but if she's interested in doing traditional marriage stuff and she liked him, a drawn out engagement or a drawn out "wait and see" dating period probably weren't things she was interested in. As a post-35 year old single gal who is mostly iffy on marriage, the recent times I have considered it have sounded less like "Will we be together forever?" and more like "What am I really waiting for? If we get divorced, we get divorced. Everybody else did."

She said on Insta she's not preggers. (Who knows, but I'm just reporting.)
IF they did rush it (which, eh. I've seen way faster), I wonder if it has to do with her dad's health? Maybe she wanted to make sure he got to go to her wedding before he passes.

Perhaps you, like I, are puzzled by the word "beetlebung" and are wondering if it refers to bug poop. It does not! I have done the googling for you. In my part of the world we would call this a blackgum tree. It is also know as a black tupelo. I had never come across the word "beetlebung" before today. ETA: Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha! I googled "Beetlebung Farm recipes" and turned up this gem: Yes, Grilled Lobster and Peach Tart. I thought about making it for dinner tonight (at my inland home, in Feb.), but I just have had it so often that I'm tired of it and I think I may want to stick with tacos or a baked potato. (Shellfish and fruit is a particular combination hits all my revulsion points. I HATE meat and fruit together. No ham and pineapple. No pork and apple. No chicken and apricots. I do not like it, Sam I am). The recipes that come with the article actually do look palatable. His restaurant menu include such dinner entrees as Filet Mignon Poutine and Swordfish Tiki Masala. Neither sounds very good to me, but he is evidently a smashing success and I am completely plebeian in my tastes.
