Plot: A young woman, born at the turn of the 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After many solitary years, she meets a man who complicates the eternal life she has settled into.

I went to see it yesterday. It's a piece of fluff (chick flick) but I enjoyed it.

I thought Blake was very good in it, though I found the pace too slow. She really surprised me.

Is it like Somewhere In Time, starring Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve? Because that's the vibe I'm getting.

It's been a long time since I've seen Somewhere in Time, but it didn't jog any memories. It's the rare film that I actually thought could have benefited from more flashbacks. Most of it takes place in the present day.

I thought that maybe there might be a secret plot twist with time travel at the end, or something. Romance with vintage costumes, etc. Or maybe it's not a romantic movie at all...? If I had girlfriends to see movies with I'd go, but I don't and this doesn't rate on my "go alone" scale.

Romantic yes. Time travel no. As far as going to see it alone, I did and enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it too, it's not the greatest movie ever but worth watching if you're interested in it. I was super-jealous of all of Blake's costumes.

I just wonder if blake EVER eats. She was unbelievably skinny in those outfits.
