She's a grown-ass woman. She needs to get on the ball. If she can negotiate contracts for all her stupid reality shows, she can handle her own money.

Tori is always describing her life as "chaos" and her financial situation is just one element of that. I think she's just one of those people who is always going to be accidentally falling into firepits, living in a house full of dog poop left by the untrained dog, getting her credit cards cut off, etc.

I know the type very well. Always in the midst of a dispute with a doctor or a dentist or a bill collector. Can never make it on time for a flight due to forces that they claim are beyond their control.

Any chance Tori's an alcoholic?

I think another issue is her terrible taste in men.

If Tori can't manage her money, then where was Dean? Why wasn't he pulling his weight?

I've known couples where one kind of sucks with money, but the other knows what's up.

But both of them? Weird.

When The Deaner is unemployed and about to get thrown in jail for years of unpaid child support, he likes to roll up to the cryotherapy clinic on a weekday on a brand new motorcycle to have himself some "me time" in the cryotherapy tanks.

So no, I don't think learning how to pay bills by their due date is a priority for The Deaner either.

I don't know why she married him. He was looking for a payday being married to her.

I don't even remember much about her first husband, Charlie, but didn't Tori cheat with Dean on him? I know Tori's parents liked Charlie.

Tori and Dean did cheat on their spouses with each other. Their stance has always been they were in unhappy marriages and found true love with each other. I distinctly remember a blind item said to be about Tori when she married her first husband that said she didn’t want to go through with it on the wedding day and her mother made her. It’s a blind item so who knows but I always thought that it was true. Her first husband seems like a decent guy in that he never sold her out so maybe he was just too boring for her.

Nah. IIRC, Charlie said he only met Candy and Aaron a few times and they were so awful he wanted to be around them as little as possible. He asked for their permission to marry Tori and as their reply, they went off about how Tori is an awful person who treats her parents badly and needs therapy. Tori's parents were upset that she divorced Charlie without consulting them, which is different from liking him.

Here's a tidbit from Charlie about the end of the marriage from People Magazine:

As for his new wife’s famous parents, Aaron and Candy Spelling, Shanian recalls, “He liked to talk about his glory days a little too much, she liked to cast an icy glare and pretend to forget how to pronounce my name.”

Things turned sour very quickly, he writes. “[Tori] picked a fight with me at a party, told me she needed ‘time and space,’ and was gone before I could comprehend what had happened.”

Next, she e-mailed him to request they meet at her therapist’s office, where he was told by the therapist: “(Tori) was not happy when she was alone with me; she didn’t want to have children with me; she’d only married me because I loved her and took care of her; she had purposefully shown me only 10 percent of her true personality; and, oh yeah, while in Canada, she’d cheated on me with her latest Lifetime-movie costar.”

On her own, Shanian writes, Spelling chimed in with, “I hate it when you sing in the car.”

I believe Tori utilized an episode of one of her reality shows to reunite with Charlie and apologize to him.

I'm glad Tori made amends with Charlie.

I think this is the most negative stuff I've ever read about Tori because everyone else seems to have nothing but nice things to say about her.

Charlie was sympathetic to Tori for growing up with those parents. He said Aaron would intentionally pit Tori and Candy against each other. Aaron would tell Tori, "I love you the most, even more than mommy."
