I don't think Tori has any money (90210 residuals, perhaps?) and Candy's money is off limits to Dean.

So we're thinking that there wasn't a prenup? I don't believe that they had one. However, that doesn't mean there's a whole lot of money for them to split. They've both been sued repeatedly to pay their debts and liens have been attached to their bank accounts. |

I wondered if they just didn't have a lot to begin with, but still would have thought Tori would want to make sure that if anything happened negatively to end the marriage, that they wouldn't have to worry about someone taking more than they were entitled to. Guess that they figured that if they had any money after being married they would need it split 50/50. Hard times and all. |

I would assume there is a prenup because it seems like a really bad idea to not have had a prenup but, then again, I guess Tori doesn’t make the best financial decisions. Was she still estranged from Candy when her and Dean got married? I can’t remember but if Candy was in the picture, she probably pushed for one. If not, there may not be one. I had friends who got divorced and it turned out they had a lot financial issues. Instead of fighting over assets, they fought over who took more of the debt. I could see Tori and Dean going that route. |

Tori's first marriage was with a guy approved of by her parents, a prenup written by the Spelling lawyers, and a wedding planned and executed by Candy at the Spelling mansion.
Tori rebelled against all of that for her second marriage. She eloped to Fiji with a guy her parents didn't like and no prenup.
I think the lack of prenup is a large reason why Tori's inheritance from Aaron wound up being crumbs. Candy wasn't going to let the Deaner have Aaron's money.
