Something about her really bothers me, and I can't quite place it.
The hair really looks so blah here, although, from the back it is kinda lovely (has a Grecian goddess vibe). A different dress with that hair, or different hair with that dress, please.

It looks like a dress I could pull off the rack at David's Bridal. Okay for someone who's the plus one of a celebrity, not good enough for a Best Actress nominee.

It's very prom or bridesmaid like. Didn't care for the ruffle or the sparky belt which looked like something hulk hogan would wear. A disappointment for me but in her defence at least she wasn't the worst dressed winner. I'd give that honour to vikander....

I like her dress fine except for the spaghetti straps and flat half-ponytail. There are two women who look good in spaghetti straps and they're both 15-year-old runway models. Also, I hate the the fashion of my youth is back. It looked bad the first time, and now I feel old.
Besides, she was the odds-on favourite all Oscar season for one of the biggest awards. She was pretty unknown before. She's beautiful. If I were her, that's when you go dramatic and do the big classic dress. Like what Jennifer Lawrence did the year she won. I love the deep blue, though.
Also, Abed's girlfriend on Community is now an Oscar winner. Weird.
