My reaction to this dress is the same as my reaction to the dress Viola Davis is wearing. The design is not that special but the color looks fantastic.

I loved the color of her dress too. It makes me wish she had worn tonight's gown at the Oscars last year because I didn't find her dress that exciting especially for someone who had to have known she was going to win.
Anyhow it wasn't her dress I wanted to comment on, but her obvious displeasure of having to present an award to Casey Affleck. I'm not sure what else she could have done when she end Casey Affleck's name as the winner aside from making a big scene and probably ruining her career because of his connections, but I'm glad that she at least got a little dig in. It must have killed her knowing what a douche he is in real life, but not really being able to say anything because the victims can't say anything about what happened because of a settlement and because he has such powerful people supporting him.
I'm still hoping he loses the Oscar, but it's looking less and less likely.

I think it's a stretch to say at the end that he references the harassment allegations when he mentions his children "have the character to keep at bay all the noise that sometimes surrounds people who live publicly." |
