This was in the news, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik breaking up and he might've struck her mother Yolanda Hadid. I really don't know enough about any of them but if there is a Real Housewife (of any kind) involved I don't believe their story.

Team Baby Khai. Yolanda Hadid is a notorious liar, and yet, I have little difficulty in believing Zayn could be violent. What a mess.

Yeah, Zayn being violent wouldn't be a shock. And, yet, Yolanda as the source (who I'm sure is the one who made sure TMZ got the story)? What a mess.

Zayn Malik said Thursday his dispute with Yolanda Hadid was a "private matter," but we've learned it actually became a public matter, as in Zayn was charged with crimes against Gigi and Yolanda Hadid and ended up copping a plea.

Zayn was charged with 4 criminal offenses of harassment and, although one official doc says he pled guilty to one, court officials tell us he actually pled no contest.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Zayn was at Gigi and Zayn's Pennsylvania home on Sept. 29 and got into a nuclear argument. He allegedly called Yolanda a "f***ing Dutch slut," ordered her to "stay away from [my] f***ing daughter." He said this, although it's hard to know why, "the f***ing sperm that came out of [my] f***ing c***."

He then allegedly "shoved her [Yolanda] into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain." Zayn denies any physical contact.

As for the charge that he harassed Gigi, according to court docs, he screamed at her, "strap on some f***ing balls and defend your partner against your f***ing mother in my house." Sources with direct knowledge tell us Gigi was actually in Paris, but Zayn allegedly said this to her on a phone call during the incident.

There was a security guard on hand, and according to the docs, Zayn screamed, "Get the f*** out of my f***ing house copper." The docs say Zayn tried to fight the guard.

Zayn pled no contest Wednesday to harassment and was fined, but with conditions. He's on 90 days probation for each count, totaling 360 days. He also must complete an anger management class and a domestic violence program. He must have no contact with Yolanda or the security guard.

Assuming all conditions are satisfied after 6 months, the judge could terminate probation.

As we reported, Zayn and Gigi broke up around the time of the incident. They share a 1-year-old daughter together.

Yolanda comes across as a helicopter mom to me. The most difficult thing with helicopter mom's is the adult child starting to set boundaries. It doesn't excuse any of Zayn's behavior though.

I hope Gigi is able to set some boundaries for the sake of herself and her daughter.

Yolanda is kind of the worst, but it doesn’t excuse his behavior. Plus he also acted like that to the security guard, so there’s no overbearing mother-in-law issues there.

I hope Zayn gets some help, he seems unstable and having a baby and living in the countryside doesn’t really fix that if there are underlying issues.

Had they broken up before the dispute? I wonder if the mom went over there to get some things of her daughter's, or take care of some business there, because Gigi was away and given the breakup Gigi knew that Zayn wouldn't take care of it, whatever it was. Yolanda assumed that Zayn would be civil to her, but he wasn't.

In my drama mind, Gigi was probably calling Zayn to see how things were going since she was away for fashion week. She probably couldn't get a hold of him and called/texted her mom to check in on them (supposedly Zayn's farm is right next to Yolanda's). Zayn gets annoyed that Yolanda is there, especially if she just let herself in. She's wanting to see the baby to make sure everything is alright, he wants her to leave and pushes/shoves her out.

Zayn does have a history of alcohol and drug abuse, I could see why Gigi would be worried especially if there are no other helpers in the house. Zayn could also be annoyed/upset that Gigi doesn't trust him to be able to take care of his own daughter and gets pushed over the edge when Yolanda came over. I do think they probably all had an agreement to keep things quiet and as long as they did, Zayn wouldn't contest. They've seemed to have all moved on, this happened over a month ago, and the fact that this came out now, it makes me wonder why it was leaked at all. TMZ didn't even seem to know this happened otherwise we would have found out a month ago.

I do wish Gigi and Khai the best. Zayn as the dad is definitely always going to be a part of Khai's life. I hope they're all able to get along for the sake of Khai.

(A sidenote, I looked at the IG pages of Gigi's siblings on her dad's side, they all still follow Zayn, as does Gigi. I know Bella and Yolanda unfollowed though)

I read that Zayn flipped out because Yolanda released a picture of baby Khai's face without permission from Gigi or himself. Still not excusable behaviour but gives it context.
