Yeah so he was the only one out of OneDirection I thought was good looking. Didn't know he could sing until I saw the Night Changes video and saw the voice I liked the best was his.
He now has released his first song and I love it. It has gone #1 here and the UK.

I love the song and hot damn, him and Gigi make a seriously beautiful looking couple.
It will be interesting to see how he goes live. He struggled so much during the audition stages of X Factor and he looks nervous as hell in the music video. I wonder how he'll go when he's front and center and singing without the boys around him.

I watched the 1D concert video not too long ago just to see what the fuss was about and 1) the boys put on a pretty good show and 2) Zayn's voice really stood out, enough so that I put in some effort figure out who "that one guy with the good voice" was.
New song - not bad. I'm curious to hear what else he releases.

I really enjoy the song and was shocked as hell it was the dude from 1D. There's something oddly forgettable about it, though. Like it's missing a hook or something that would make it an earworm. Also there's a disconnect between the title and the lyrics that doesn't help either. I'm like, "what's the name of that song by Autotune featuring the guy from One Direction?"

I like the song although I think it suffers from the fact that he has not articulated a consonant since 2012. I think he's really hot, really talented, and inoffensively really messy so I hope he stays successful/famous. But given the financial security he has I would be interested to see if he does more experimental, out-there type stuff too.

According to Spotify, he is now known only as ZAYN (all caps). I did think he was the best singer in 1D, and obviously very good-looking, but as a solo artist he mostly bores me.

He was kind of underwhelming on Fallon. He looked super pretty and his voice sounded great but he just doesn't have any stage presence at all.

The first song (Pillowtalk) sounded too much like a copy of The Weeknd's Wicked Games to me. I heard the second song on Fallon but I wasn't as memorable as Pillowtalk. I am interested to hear what the rest of the album will sound like. I think he has a good voice but he mumbles so much.
