I know so many young moms who are going to this in groups - a lot of girls nights out. The concept seems to have struck a nerve.

The CTV reviewer said it was funny, especially Kathryn Hahn, one of the lesser known actors. I hope it does well, more fodder for the "yes, women can be funny, and yes, female-oriented movies do sell tickets" argument.

I saw Bad Moms and it was not good. I thought it really tried too hard. Like they were trying to capture the natural chemistry and hilarity in Bridesmaids and it just didn't work. I only laughed a few times and fell asleep once. Eek.

The reviews I read were good, and the people I know who saw it really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it too. It was a bit predictable, but I thought it was an enjoyable way to pass some time. Kathryn Hahn & Kristen Bell were far more enjoyable than Mila Kunis. I know she actually is 32 and thus technically old enough to have two kids in middle school, but she looks like she should still be in college so that just kept throwing me off.

The way Kathryn Hahn says "get your shit together!" to Kristen Bell when she drunkenly falls off the bar stool just cracks me up for some reason.

I thought it was hilarious and yes, Kathryn Hahn stole the movie. I liked the tag at the end where the starts were sitting with their moms. Kristen Bell & Kathryn Hahn are their mothers' spitting image.

So I saw this with my friends and laughed hard and they said I am exactly like Karla. I don't know what to say about that. I will take it cause she is at least fun.

I saw with some girlfriends - we went early, had drinks, and laughed, but it was not good. I was talking with one of the friends yesterday and she said "People keep asking me if it was good and... it wasn't really, was it? But it was a fun night." And that sums it up - there were some things that made me laugh, but it was because I had a small buzz and I was with friends, relaxing. It was pretty trite, overly harsh on dads, and wrapped up a little too neatly.
Plus I did my own mommy-judging that she kept driving her kids around in a car that had no seat belts in the back seat.
