That is some unfortunate timing, indeed.

I've always taken a liking to her for some reason.

My understanding was that Nancy and her husband had split a few months ago, but had not made an announcement in order to keep things as normal as possible for their child. When everyone started looking her up for a comment on Trump, the split became public.

I wish I could remember where I read this, but I can't.

Adrienne Bailon is a host on The Real (the same daytime talk show from which Tamar Braxton was fired a few months ago). She just got engaged to Israel Houghton, who is a Grammy Award-winning gospel singer. They met while she was engaged to another dude and he was still legally married. Then, she ended her engagement and he got divorced. Soon afterward they were papped on vacation in Mexico.

Anyway, they got engaged in August. They just had a bridal shower. The rumor is they are getting married next month.

It's understandable that Adrienne is excited, but she is doing the absolute most with the publicity...like when she admitted that she and Israel are saving themselves for marriage. All this premarital PR reminds me of all the talking that a certain former daytime show hostess did before she got married. Let's hope Adrienne's marriage doesn't suffer a similar fate.

By the way, there were reports that Israel cheated during his first marriage. Joel Osteen's church (where Israel was working) put him on leave because of that. There were also rumors that Israel had sired two children with another woman while he was married. A blog posted copies of court papers relating to a lawsuit over unpaid child support.

I hope Adrienne knows what she's doing!
