Old thread was threatening to split, so start over here to talk about Brad and Angelina.

Not surprised. The tabloids have been touting it like every other week for a year now.

I love Michael K: I really don't see Brad letting her have the kids without a fight. Why would she suddenly have a problem with his parenting after 12 years together? Something more is up. *starts munching popcorn*

This makes me sad. They were a cute family. It's too bad, but I don't see anyone else putting up with their separate, crazy asses. Can you imagine being a step parent and having to co-Parent with those two? Ugh. No thanks

In sad too. A family is breaking up. I feel bad for their kids because this will be very public and ugly.

Something more is up. *starts munching popcorn* For a brief moment I wondered if this is somehow connected to yesterday's big gossip item about Coreys Haim and Feldman, but such a thing would be too odd and sad to contemplate. It's probably a lot of factors--marriage ennui, the stresses of managing such a large family regardless of significant resources, and, ultimately, a fundamental incompatibility between people of two very different upbringings--finding a fracture point of discharge through "parenting" issues. As studies have shown, opposites do not usually make for lasting relationships, no matter how enticing the initial attraction.

No more "Divorce Pool"? I was going to ask, "Who's next?" 2016 has dealt a number of wild cards.
