Given that Maddox is 15 and the rest are rapidly approaching their teen years, I wonder if conflict over how to deal with teenage angst & rebellion is part of the parenting conflict. My dh & I were pretty much on the same page until our kids turned 12 and turned into angry aliens. I turned into the Mommy from Hell & he ignored any and every behavior that didn't occur in front of his eyes. We had some pretty messy fights about the little darlings.

I think it has to do with their kids becoming teenagers and Brad's drug use. If he's being lenient and allowing them to experiment, then her Momma Bear might have kicked in overdrive. I doubt the supposed affair with Colliard had anything to do with it, since they supposedly were open. If Angelina found out Brad's drug use was rampant and endangering her children, she'd cut him off with a quickness, like she did with Billy Bob.

I hope it doesn't get ugly. I think they both are probably very good parents, but probably both total hot messes to be married to, and it probably ran its course. I don't like Pitt but I believe he loves his kids.

It's fascinating to read/hear people speculate which parent would be the more lenient parent. One group is adamant it would be Brad because he had a conservative upbringing, and Angie was a wild child. Others think he has to be Angie because she's grown/evolved over the years, and has learned from her mistakes.
Brad has always struck me as laid-back, and not giving a rats ass about much, so I'm having trouble visualizing anger issues. If MC is pregnant, then I could see that being a deal breaker, but I'm at a loss for trying to come up with a reason while the kid's health is in danger around Brad.
I've met Angie twice, and both times she was lovely and easy going, but I could see her letting the kids run wild (and I've heard rumors from multiple sources that the kids do whatever they want). I don't know what to think about all of this. At first I thought the news was a joke. I've always believed that the kids meant the world to both of them, and were always put first.
I fear this will get really ugly, in part because their fans (and Aniston's) are so invested in the outcome and placing blame on the other.
But my biggest fear is wondering what Kim K, and Donald Trump will do/say to get the attention back on them....
