The actor who plays Jason was sent to the Jaguars playoff game last Sunday. It was delightful. BORTLES! I've read on Twitter that the Jaguars are 1-0 in the "Jason Mendoza Era" I also just found out that Manny Jacinto, the actor playing Jason Mendoza, actually studied Civil Engineering in college. He plays an airhead so well.

I also just found out that Manny Jacinto, the actor playing Jason Mendoza, actually studied Civil Engineering in college. He plays an airhead so well. Yeah, playing dumb well is actually pretty difficult. And he manages to play Jason as someone who is super-stupid, but also sweet and kinda charming. That is a tough trick to pull off. Jason gave me two of my favorite moments this season, both involving him being super-delighted with something stupid. Like when they gave him a sparkler to distract him and he was just over the moon. And then when Michael gave him a Pikachu balloon and Jason was all, “You guys! It’s Pikachu!!”

Mindy finally got her coke! I was irrationally happy for her, like, why am I clapping for the cocaína?!

Seeing the fake "good place" fold up and bleep out of existence made me sad! Even with the creepy clown pictures, I kinda loved that place.
Michael's human starter kit was fantastic. And he's already well on his way, as he knows you never actually use a stress ball, but you also never throw one out, because you *might.*

I rewatched it today and Ted Danson's delivery of "You guys! I was so worried!" while hugging Eleanor KILLED me. Michael Shurr's little universes, like Greg Garcia's, are twisted, sweet, funny little worlds. I loved that scene so much! Ted Danson is so good in this - was happy to see he just won Best Actor at the Critics' Choice award, he deserves it.

Ted Danson is another older person (he's 70) who makes me think, "Damn. I need to start doing yoga or something." He was moving pretty well out on the dance floor this episode.
I think they will find their way back to the neighborhood (if only because the show isn't going to just throw that set away). But it will be fun to see them try to sneak through the Bad Place and to see what they will do before the judge (who I am assuming will send them back to the neighborhood for some reason).

I will never tire of Bad Janet making blowing raspberries! She is very much a Grease characterization of what a "bad" Janet would be.

My favorite part of this episode was Jason saying that his version of The Bad Place would probably have him go to a Skrillex concert and then waiting for the beat to drop and it never does.
That *does* sound like hell.

I'm super curious to know who is going to play the eternal judge. A couple of the cast members have just said they were really excited to work with this person.
Jason always looks cute but he looked especially hot in that suit.
