Anyone else notice the cameo by Ron Swanson? He taught Tahani to make the perfect chair. The ONLY one who could do it! Michael Schur has friends in very high places. ETA Apparently, Nick Offerman was, in fact, playing himself in that woodworking scene with Tahani, not Ron Swanson. (Schur didn’t want to cross-pollinate the fictional universes of The Good Place and Parks and Rec.) per TVline.com

I just loved the Timothy Olyphant cameo, as I love him too.
And The Leftovers shout out on the last episode.
It was a perfect ending.

Perfect ending. Chidi really got me. The waves speech was already making me cry, and then I lost it because he was so secure in his decision to walk through. His journey as a character really hit me hard.
Also echoing those who loved Jason popping out, it was the perfect way for me to stop crying and start laughing again. (The Chidi calendar was another one of those moments.)
I will watch anything Michael Schur creates, and am so sad to see this show go.

I loved seeing that the demon, Trevor was still screaming and floating in the void. HA! Suck it, Trevor! (It's when Michael is with Tahani to go to the Architect offices)

The wave speech really got me too. It would be nice if this is how it all works - you live your life, then you work to be better, then you get to do whatever you want for as long as you want, then you can just go when you’re ready. And I love the journey everyone went on - Chidi finally becoming confident in his choices, Eleanor, who lived selfishly (as a defense mechanism) gave selflessly in the end (even letting Chidi go when she wasn’t ready because she realized she owed that to him), Tahani began to truly help others for altruistic reasons (while proving she is, indeed, perfect - learning how to do everything, then blazing her own trail by becoming an architect), Michael got to be human, and Jason...was mostly Jason. Tapping into his own strange type of peace and wisdom. But for some reason I was moved when Donkey Doug talked about having Jason when he was 18, and how they sort of raised each other. I bet that happens a lot with young parents. And I was moved by the cast’s little special with Seth Meyers. And it looked like D’Arcy Carden was wearing the little “J+J” charm Jason gave Janet on her bracelet, which was sweet.

And it looked like D’Arcy Carden was wearing the little “J+J” charm Jason gave Janet on her bracelet, which was sweet. She was! Manny Jacinto apparently kept it and gave it to D’Arcy right before the episode aired. It was the one thing he took from the set. I know it’ll never happen but they all deserve Emmys for this episode.

What a beautiful ending to this show. Chidi's wave speech was probably both the highlight and the part that made me cry the hardest.

What a beautiful ending to this show. Chidi's wave speech was probably both the highlight and the part that made me cry the hardest. I don’t cry at TV shows or movies. But when Eleanor and Chidi had to split up, so that Chidi’s memory could be rebooted, I cried. When Chidi knew it was his time and Eleanor let him go, I cried. That the show said “hey, here’s how we hope we can move on...” just made me happy.

I haven't watched the show for the last season very much but I did finally get to see the finale and it made me cry several times. It was a lovely ending for everyone's character I thought.
