So Parliament just voted against Theresa May's Brexit deal. Is a People's Vote/second referendum actually a real possibility now? There will be a No Confidence vote in the government tomorrow. The general vibe seems to be that it won't succeed as the Tory party are all still fuckwits, just fuckwits who have wildly different views on Brexit to one another. So they want to continue fighting amongst themselves, but at the end of the day will vote to keep May (and, more importantly, themselves) in power. If the No Confidence vote is successful, then May will have to resign and that could/should/might not/who knows lead to a General Election. Which would also be a clusterfuck because the Leave/Remain vote is not split down party lines. Hopefully, if the No Confidence vote fails then it at least will force Corbyn along a bit, hopefully to support a 2nd Referendum.

I've heard a lot of grumbling about Corbyn being a weak opposition leader--is this accurate?

What a freaking mess. Honestly. I hope David Cameron sits somewhere and is ashamed of the chaos he caused and left behind.

Corbyn I think is either adored and seen as the next big thing or hated and is the anti christ Or at least he was at last election time I think he has missed his moment. But what do I know I gust wind tmrw and it could be all changed.
The Queen should invoke ancient rules and lock Cameron up in The Tower!
Oh and Arlene Foster DUP says there wasn’t a hard border in Ireland before ....so the soldiers with guns at checkpoints was just our imagination then ...ok then. ...

I follow so many political animals on twitter that for a second I wondered what kind of animal Mr K was and what the twitter handle was. Related, Waterford Whispers (Irish Onion-like site) knows where Cameron is: Rather her than me.

The conifidence vote she survived before Christmas was in her by her own party, this one was a confidence vote in her Govt put forward by the opposition, I think. At this point I’d have Larry the Cat in charge ahead of any human.
