Our sincerest apologies to all of you for our forum being offline since last night!

All of ProBoards went dark because of a general server failure, so it didn't affect just us. I've been up with our tech support guys for a few hours trying to get us back online.

Our particular server is still inoperable, but my charm offensive was a success - I persuaded them to move us to a working server so you could all wake up to a functioning board.

We're back in action now, so carry on with your snarky selves. Apologies again for the interruption!

The advantage of being in another timezone I was blissfully unaware but will add to the Thank you for all your hard work keeping this board going thru all sorts of good and bad stuff. Thank you x.

Thanks everyone. It's heartening to know how much this place means to all of you.

I had a moment of panic myself when I thought we might lose the board for good. I kept getting up every hour during the night to check on our status, like checking someone for concussion. Once 3am hit, I just stayed up chatting with the lovely tech support guys.

They were amazing as always. We're very fortunate that ProBoards respects our community given the size of Greecieland, so they were willing to listen when I asked that we be given priority to move to a working server. So really, all credit goes to you guys for maintaining our ranks and making us a significant enough piece of the www.

I'm off for a manicure now (time for a bit of pampering) and then will buy a pie on my way home and take a nap. I make no promises for whether said pie survives intact before napping commences...

I was sliding into conspiracy theories!

I am a member of one other ProBoards forum (about old Yashica cameras) and when I tried to visit here and failed, checked my Yashica forum (sometimes the iPhone app glitches, and hoop jumping is required to get to y'all) , and they were up through the whole horrifying ordeal! I was afraid Hair Furor had set his sights on us as a DoJ target...

Because of who I am and how I am I just assumed I'd uploaded some sort of virus and it was all my fault. Sounds like the cause is still unknown, so if any of my links to DM created the problem I would like to apologize now.

Mulva, I know how you feel. I swear I was going through withdrawal last night, checking every few minutes to see if we were back online. I even ran a search engine that told me that ProBoards was up and running. I couldn’t believe it.
