This show is kind of losing me.
That said, read on another message board Jughead actor was an asshole and now I can’t like him :/ I wish the focus was more on the ladies than Juggie or Archie. Wouldn’t mind more Kevin.

Yeah, the last episode was dull. I mean I LOVED the first season, once I gave in and watched it, and how over the top it was. But this one was dull.
Updating: The back and forth with the Black Hood and Betty has been good. Of course the death in the jail is interesting, because how did he get in there?

I am so rolly-eyes at Jughead and his Serpents problem. It is so NOT interesting and the plot is not even making a good point about the classist issue that is clearly present in Riverdale.
I just want to know about the Black Hood and get on with Riverdale life. Jughead can stay in the Southside for all I care.

OK so am I the only one watching?  I liked the setup and the direction of the last episode, but some of the scenes seemed pointless. Also why would you call Betty "Poirot" if there's a perfectly great female character of Agatha Christie to call her instead? |

Still watching but this last episode was mind-numbingly boring. They sold every single scene as super dramatic and suspenseful, but nothing really happened? And the end was so anti-climactic; like the Black Hood was suddenly going to decide that nobody was a sinner?

Where is Betty's dad? Hal, is it? His wife is all biker chick-ed out, his daughter is doing a shitty strip tease/burlesque dance at a "Welcome Home From Jail" party, and he has no idea what they are up to?  |

It's really getting worse. I wish there was less focus on the Core4 and more on Cheryl, Reggie, Josie, etc. Even the parents are more interesting. Jughead is insufferable.

I love it in a guilty pleasure kind of way. I agree that Jughead has been really annoying this season though. I enjoyed his Dad yelling at him last night. And I'm looking forward to Betty, Chic, & Mama Cooper burying that guy's body next week. I'm 100% certain someone will see them and blackmail them. I need a soapy escape in my life, now more than ever, and this show is doing it for me. |

I haven't watched it yet, but the point of this show, from what I've read, is kind of lost on me. By making Archie and his friends all grim and dark and Twin Peaks-like, they're so far past their canon that they might as well be totally different characters. It's like making a TV show about the Smurfs, and having them all be zombies.
