Game Night

I just got back from seeing this at a late night showing. I really enjoyed this as it was funny and had the perfect mix of predictability and mystery to keep me guessing throughout the movie.
The two stars - Jason Bateman & Rachel McAdams - had great chemistry and made the movie really work for me.
If you don't know the story they are a couple who regularly have game night with friends coming over to play games against each other. One night his brother comes back in town and after participating in their game night proposes one of his own.
The catch is that his is a kidnap game night which turns out to be real.

I liked this a lot. Very fun cast. I posted in another thread that I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was really pleasantly surprised.

I want to see more from John Francis Daly. I really enjoyed Horrible Bosses as well.

I loved this!! It was definitely in the same sort of wacky and quizzically funny characters as Horrible Bosses. When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was a horror movie but I'm glad it was not. I really hate all the Frat Pack movies and wish there were more of Jason Sudeikis / Charlie Day / Jason Bateman couplings.

But who knew I needed more Rachel McAdams doing comedy??

I think she got her start in a comedy? The Hot Chick? Where she switches bodies with Rob Schneider. She was really funny in that, acting like a crude, slob of a man. But yeah, she should def do more.

So so so OT, but I feel this way about Leonardo DiCaprio. He’s so serious. He should go the Meryl route and do some funny movies because I think he has he chops for it.
