Just saw it. And wow! I loved it. Can Hollywood please take note. Every movie doesn’t have to be a sequel, remake, reboot, based on a book, comic, graphic novel. Just a good film with wonderful acting and something different /new.
Emily Blunt was amazing! I hope she gets nominated for all of the awards. The score was perfect, the setting, the ambience. It was well done.

True! And it was a spec script. Impressive.
I, too, liked it a lot. My Jim crush is back on. Emily is amazing.

I went to see this yesterday and left five minutes in. Why? The sound of people smacking their food, doesn’t just bother me, it physically hurts me and didn’t think the no dialog thing through. I managed to sit through five minutes of chomping and then ran out. Will have to be redbox for me.

I was really excited to see this, but ended up a little underwhelmed. Emily Blunt and the little girl were excellent and the others were good too, but it was just a little empty for me, overall.
And John Krasinski's acting choice in his most pivotal scene almost made me giggle. What should have been primal and raw came across as cartoonish and muppet-like.
I didn't dislike it, but I guess I was expecting more after the nearly universal praise it's had.
As far as novel ideas in modern horror movies go, Get Out was much more interesting to me.

I did manage to see the whole movie though. I thought it was good in a relatively new to directing effort on Krasinski's part and I think it was a nice original type of film that hasn't been done before.
