There's just something about Cumberbatch's voice as Dr. Strange. It's a MASSIVE difference from his natural voice and accent. I could listen to it all day..especially when he's schooling Stark and basically telling him to just shut the hell up. LOL Or narrating while his magical cloak is slapping the shit out of Tony. I'd watch that movie.

New idea for a spinoff- Dr. Strange’s Magic Cloak: The Most Loyal Piece of Outerwear Slaps the Crap Out of Tony Stark

Loved the little bits of grey in Cumberbatch’s hair. I enjoyed him and Stark too.
Too bad Chris Pine wasn’t in it too and then we’d have all them all.

But we don't WANT him to wax his chest. If Rick can shave his chest in the zombie apocalypse, Captain America can go hirsute in the infinity apocalypse.

20 minutes of trailers before it started. The Regal theater chain needs to seriously reconsider that.
I loved that Strange's cloak stood there and reacted to the Stark/Strange bickering--that actually distracted me from my inner geeking out over Holmes vs. Holmes.
In the comics, isn't Captain Marvel Sharon Carter? I gather the MCU is different?

Wikipedia says that Captain Marvel was a bunch of dudes for several decades and Carol Danvers became Captain Marvel in 2012. She was the first Ms. Marvel, and there was a Sharon Ventura who was also Ms. Marvel in the 80s. Sharon Carter has only ever been Sharon Carter. This is why I could never get into comics, they keep changing who's what superhero and rebooting and changing continuities and whatnot. It's impossible to keep track of it all.

Ah, ok, thanks. I shall continue to only pay attention to the MCU.

Captain Marvel was Ms Marvel who was the person Rogue from XMen took all of her powers. She then got super bionic powers which make her now the most powerful of all of them. Even Thor.

I just watched this. The ending made me cry. #sorrynotsorry. I also now understand all the billboards blanketing LA (They show the different groups of Avengers).
Thor was definitely the best thing for me. I really love Chris' deep voice-- and I'm glad I'm not alone in disliking Pratt. Evans looked fine with the beard/longer hair, and I really loved when they went to Wakanda.
I've never read the comics so I don't know anything about these characters back stories-- aside from the Marvel films I've seen (One Thor, one Captain America, Dr. Strange, The Avengers ((and the original Spiderman))
I don't know why they made the editorial choice to keep the Hulk in an Ironmanesque suit, but it didn't work for me either.
Overall, the movie flew by for how long it was, and I appreciated the humor. I saw this at the Arclight, and I came in 5 minutes late and they were midway through the Solo trailer, but that's all we got. 20 minutes of trailers is insane!

I saw it again today with a friend, and cried again. From the time Wanda has to kill Vision until the screen went black, I was leaking tears. My friend didn't cry, but went silent, like the rest of the theater. There were also lots of sniffs, and a few sobs. The end credits were even worse the second time around. Endless.
