This has been bothering me a bit--was anyone else troubled by the 2 decade age difference between Vision & Wanda?

Well, technically Vision is only three years old so...who’s really robbing the cradle here?

I guess it didn’t bother me bc Elizabeth Olsen, to me, carries herself and seems to have a maturity beyond her actual age. Maybe I’m alone on that, but it didn’t bother me like it may have with a different actress. Also because Vision looked like Vision most of the movie.

Vision & Wanda is one that probably should bother me but doesn't - I think it helps that their relationship is kind of chaste and weird, and Olson and Bettany do a good job conveying that they're on a similar wavelength. I know Pratt annoys people, but I have to say, Quill's bitchfest with Tony was one of the funniest parts of the movie to me, and I did NOT think that was going to be the case. They pulled off the "dueling smartasses" thing without descending into total Quip Hell. Other thoughts: {Spoiler}* Even knowing future movies are going to reverse it, Bucky's "death" was a total wham moment, and Peter begging to be spared was devastating.
* The movie was already overstuffed so I understand not being able to fit this in, but it kind of bugged me that a bunch of relationships were patched up offscreen after Civil War - I'm thinking in particular of Black Widow & Scarlet Witch, and Falcon & Rhodes. Also, I sort of wish they'd make up their mind about whether Tony and Pepper are together.
* Gamora's death was horrifying as well. Separately, the scene where Peter was prepared to kill her was also really effective.
* Red Skull's appearance was a VERY satisfying callback and I had no idea that wasn't Hugo Weaving.
* Okoye had one of my other favorite lines of the movie. "Why wasn't SHE down here the whole time?!" Thor was the MVP of the movie for me, both in terms of kicking ass and holding the movie together narratively. As someone else mentioned upthread, I wouldn't have seen that coming during his first movie but I'm so glad for the shot in the arm Ragnarok provided to the character. It seems like Taika Waititi finally cracked the code for what to do with him.

20 minutes of trailers before it started. The Regal theater chain needs to seriously reconsider that. I can live with that because it gives me time to get popcorn and drinks! What I couldn't figure out was why did AMC and Regal practically eliminate the early matinees? Starboy and I had to go to Neshaminy Mall AMC to find a showing before 12:00 noon! We had a great time, though. We are currently planning for Deadpool 2. That trailer was awesome!

I don't know that Vision/Wanda had a chaste relationship . . . They were talking about bed. And remember, Jarvis had access to all of Tony Stark's porn.

Finally got to see it, wasn't spoiled ahead of time. Largely pleased with the integration of the casts. They did a good job dividing the characters up and not revisiting much. I unfortunately had trouble paying attention for the last quarter of the movie due to desperately needing the bathroom, which I think gives me the distance to say: {Spoiler}Oh man, hinging armageddon on Vision didn't work for me. Nor did the Vision/Wanda relationship. I was totally willing to sacrifice him. TOTALLY.
That said, I'm quite pleased with the Avengers who didn't evaporate. And Tony Stark should be nicely debilitated by having his protege die screaming in his arms. I'm also okay with Loki and Gamora potentially being really dead.
I enjoyed Tony snarking with Dr. Strange (I was utterly bored by the Dr. Strange movie, such that I have no idea what happened in it even tho I saw it).
I wondered why they didn't have a Black Panther sequel planned immediately, and now I know why.
I may need to see this again to fully process it.

I would recommend to anyone seeing this movie to visit the restroom just before the movies starts, yes it is that long.
