It's funny that someone can say America is so stupid but if someone mentions that France is more into the nudie sort of thing (which is true), arms go up. Interesting.
Stina what makes you think I have a go to place for all things sinful? As a European, you know that France is a country which is very open about nudity. Is that suppose to be a bad thing? I thought they were proud of that.
KarenK I acgree w/you that the pundits were way off base as to what really was wrong w/that superbowl stunt. I could care less about the boobage. I think the stripping thing was way out of line. I do think however, that the reason nipple-gate became so huge is that people are sick of the in your face kind of attitude some artists have. If the majority of Americans (or even half) are offended by gratutitous nudity, why can't their opinions be respected? Why are they called names like "stupid?"
I realize this is way off topic, so I'm going to stop now. I saw "America is so stupid" and thought it was something I couldn't ignore.
Back to Justin: I always thought he was creepy, but he moved way up when he said KFed was "gross."

LMAO!
I don't think Justin ever publically stated K-Fed was gross. Maybe privately but who knows with the tabloids nowadays.

Yeah, I agree that it is disrespectful to call a country as a whole stupid, but you didn't say that. You basically said that France was into rapelike portrayals. IMO, that is worse than saying that a country is stupid.

I think Janet looked genuinely shocked that her nipple went flying, and she's not that good an actress, so I do believe that the costume ripped off more than was intended or she didn't put the right bra on or a bra at all. I think it was intended to rip away and probably expose her entire bra.
But as for it being an aggressive act? For that to be negative it has to be non-consentual, and quite clearly it was consentual. She wasn't a random woman walking down the street who had her shirt ripped off. Stuff like that has always been a part of Janet's performance style (bondage, beatings, sex, etc.).

I just can't stop seeing anything but a little boy when I see Timberlake. I don't know why. The hotness just isn't there for me.

He used to be hot in my book, when I was 13. Now, that I am older, he doesn't do a darn thing for me even though I can see why others would find him hot. What can I say, the love is gone.

Stina what makes you think I have a go to place for all things sinful? As a European, you know that France is a country which is very open about nudity. Is that suppose to be a bad thing? I thought they were proud of that. I asked because the mention of France (to me) came out of nowhere. Nobody had mentioned anything about France and it was mentioned in a derogatory context (that they'd be sure to like that crap, in reference to what you labelled an act of RAPE, no less). That's why I wondered what your issue with France is. Especially because France is a very religious country and old-fashioned in many ways and topless beaches and a weird view (IMO) on monogamy doesn't equal rape kink. I don't want to argue and my intention is not to start a debate as to sexual values. I just want to make my point clear, that as a European the whole "the French/Scandinavian/Dutch/whatever are godless, no morals, sexually liberated to the point of perversion"(and yes, I know you didn't say that, but it went in that general direction) is offensive. As offensive as "all Americans are stupid" is to you, I'm sure. And just as untrue. Edited: Topic: Justin's new single should drop anytime, no? Maybe he'll premiere it on the VMAs? Or maybe not, I don't think it went as well as he hoped the last time.
