I like the idea of this thread, so I’ll start off with : I miss the Tom Snyder show. I dearly miss that man and his show. I used to watch his show in the 90s before going to bed and nothing has replaced that ritual in the same way. He could tell a story about something as simple as taking his Mom to a doctor's appointment and make it fascinating. That's what I liked about his show. He'd just converse and tell stories. Fire up a colortini, sit back, relax, and watch the pictures as they fly through the air. We miss you, Tom.

I miss Craig Ferguson’s show. It was the only late night show on at the time that I watched every day, I wasn’t even watching Letterman that much then.

The Apprentice and the Master (warning first min very nsfw! as is last few bits and pieces sort of) So,Graham Norton, was on Channel 4 less rules....... Baby Graham Norton on Channel 4 interviewing the original irish chatshow man on BBC the mighty Terry Wogan with bonus Carrie Fisher in 1999. Wogan saw Graham as his natural successor and he truly is. Terry passed away in 2016! And Carrie's last UK interview was with Graham. (Shakes fist at 2016 again) Other UK chat show folk I like are Michael Parkinson and Jonathan Ross. Ireland of course had Gay Bryne not Gabriel Bryne the other less internationally famous one!

I have a dvd set of Tom Snyder doing interviews with musicians. I bought it for the Kiss appearance.
It is a thing of beauty. Gene and Paul are clearly there just to pimp the new album (The Elder...?) and while Paul gives up early, Gene is seething the entire time.
Tom seems to be almost as drunk as Ace and Peter, who wander WAY off the reservation and have a lengthy and hilarious convo about Ace’s new fascination with flying radio controlled model helicopters, as Peter just cackles at everything Snyder says.
Glorious late night television!
