He is incredible. I love him, too. No matter how out there his outfit, he wears it. It never wears him. That takes a hell of a lot of personality.

Billy's from Austin! Apparently he comes home quite a lot to visit family. When ds1 was in high school, she attended a musical theatre camp here, and one night all the kids were bussed over to the Long Center to see Idina Menzel in concert. HUGE deal! Idina used to walk through the audience and pick an audience member to sing "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent with her, and when she started her search, all of ds1's campmates stood up, pointed at ds1, and said, "Pick her! She tried out for camp with that song!"
Idina came over and was about to tap her to sing, but Billy was seated directly behind ds1, and Idina picked him because he had just been cast as the lead in Kinky Boots. Ds1 understood, but she and her campmates were totally bummed to discover that Billy did not know the words to "Take Me or Leave Me". Oops!
We still love you, Billy...

I ADORE Billy, and I think his picture should be right next to the word "fabulous" in the dictionary, but...damn, that Tina Turner meets Nomi Malone meets A Chorus Line golden monstrosity is indeed wearing him (in my opinion). Now, I know that theme of this year's Met Gala was camp, and in that respect, he certainly adhered to the theme. However, I still don't like how it looks on him. Oh well, he is still awesome.

He just kills it on the red carpet. Unapologetic and bold. I've seen a few episodes of Pose and he's really good on that too.

Not his best look, I think. The top and bottom don't seem to really have anything to do with each other? I would have loved to see an entire outfit made in the fabric (material, maybe?) of the top.
