Me too. Diana was in the media for a very long time and wore a lot of different clothes, so Kate is bound to wear some things that are similar in some way to something she wore. That doesn't mean that everything she wears is a reference or tribute to her.

gremlin45 What Kate Wore has information on the retail prices of the pieces when available, but if the item is bespoke, it's hard to say what it cost. I was upset to see that the owner of the blog is in the hospital and hasn't been able to cover Kate's wardrobe on this tour. She was able to recap her arrival outfit. No price tag for the Catherine Walker dress, but the bag and earrings were $39 total.

The WKW Facebook page is being updated with some prices.

I know! There's actually a limited amount of colours out there. Saying Kate's channelling Diana because she's wearing a white shirt or a black dress is beyond ridiculous.

I'm really impressed by how well Kate did sartorially on the Pakistan tour. It's particularly challenging to strike the right balance of looking like yourself but also following local norms when visiting a conservative area. I see a lot of western women get it wrong by doing things like covering up fully but in form fitting clothing (still a no) or exposing too much hair in settings where you cover your head. Kate was pretty much perfect this trip.

I remember when Taylor Swift was dating a Kennedy and there was a "Taylor's trying to look like Jackie!" article, where the "evidence" was that she wore a polkadot scarf three years before she met the guy, or a white shirt and jeans, and Jackie wore polkadots /white shirt and jeans!!! I was just eyerolling the whole way through.

Both Meghan and Kate get it much worse though, because Diana was such an icon, and is also their MIL. What are they supposed to do, never wear blue because Diana wore it?

Never wear blue, turquoise, red, black, white, green, polka dots, flower patterns... The list is almost endless!

That kind of crap says far more about the neverending obsession with Diana than it does about Kate's or Meghan's wardrobes.

This has been my favorite tour after the one in Australia and New Zealand. The fashion was on point, love the color scheme of blue, green and white. And I learned about the SOS Villages, which is an amazing project I'd never heard of before. Lots of kudos to William and Kate.

The comparison with Diana, both negative and positive, for Kate and Meghan really irritates and I try to ignore it. It's so nonsensical and reeks of just finding something to praise and/or carp about.

I'm going to add to the she looked fantastic chorus. Especially the white with black accents outfit she wore boarding the plane.

Whoever picked those outfits did am amazing job.
