Does anyone know what they actually DID in Pakistan besides meet important people on various porches/steps, wear really pretty clothes and visit a lot of remote places? Because I'm damned if I can find anything online.

And how likely are we to ever see any of the Clothes Kate wore again?!? LOL, yes! I've seen various gatherings-up of the cost of Meghan's clothing, but no such thing re Kate's custom-made Pakistani fashion.

As opposed to the curing of sick people or building vital missing infrastructure or single-handedly negotiating peace agreements between contentious factions that other royals do on their tours? They did the usual, meet with dignitaries including the Prime Minister and President, highlight charities and organizations doing cool work (As examples, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital; National Cricket Center where the British Council runs the dosti program to promote child development; Army Canine Center, which trains dogs to detect explosive materials), and visit the Hindu Kush mountains where the day's agenda was to highlight the changes that climate change and global warming were having on local communities.

There is, quite literally, a link to the DM story about the cost of Kate's Pakistan Trip wardrobe. It is in a post from yesterday, in this thread.

The Jenny Packham evening gown is highly likely to be worn again. She wore mostly separates and I think she will wear almost all of it again. The exception would be the shalwar kameez. Those apparently cost between $80-$400, so not a huge amount went towards the one-time pieces. Kate spent $15k for the whole tour, which is an amount Meghan has dropped on a single outfit multiple times. The press doesn't write about Kate's spending the same way they do about Meghan's because the two are not the same.

I think the more western dresses (the Walker ombre, the Packham emerald, the green Walker coat dress) will reappear. I doubt the dressier kameez or William's sherwani will ever come out of the closet again. Article about fashion and diplomacy, focusing on this tour. I noticed the pricier dresses were paired with inexpensive jewelry from a Pakistani source.

Catherine gave her first ever interview in eight years, which doesn't seem right to me. Wasn't speaking on the steps after giving birth considered an interview? But anyway, she has. I do think she is being granted a little more leeway with everything going on with Meghan.
Including! Her first ever post on IG. She talks about the importance of large families, as seen by the SOS village, in the nurturing, love and protection of vulnerable children.
I admit, I too wondered if it was a "hint" (I don't want to say a swipe) at H&M.
