Favourite outfits: the ombre dress Kate arrived in and that lovely b/w kurta she flew out in. I hope she can wear the kurta again at some point.

Least favourite? That Jenny Packham gown. £3640* of ugly. Maybe it looked better in motion.

*I can't believe it was almost twice the price of the ombre dress when the ombre dress was so much better in every way.

My only quibble is she's wearing a gorgeous brooch and her hair is covering it. Agree that otherwise it's perfectly polished and appropriate.

That was my thought too-- I'd like to see the brooch since it looks like a bit more than the standard poppy.

The Fug Girls figured out that Kate's brooch is one of a collection, made to commemorate women who lost their lives as a direct result of the First World War, which seems like a very lovely idea.
