I'm not sure what it is exactly, but she has been looking extremely severe in the face lately. I know I've mentioned in the past that an additional 10-15 pounds would do her a world of good, but it isn't just the need for some extra weight. She's looking a but Cindy Lou Who in the face. Maybe it's the harshness of the roundness of her cheeks on such a thin face, or over arched eyebrows, but she's looks off in the face.

And her outfit from the event today was a little too Michael Jackson for me. Far too many tassels. Lol. And there is absolutely no give in her jacket. She must not expect to gain an ounce for the rest of her life.

It is a little Michael Jackson, but I also kind of like it. Wrong thread, but I think Meghan's hat is off for the circumstances. It's too casual or something.

I think the coat fits exactly as it's supposed to? I do like that style but it's definitely a little MJ-y.

Kate is quite thin. I hope it's normal for her and not because of stress or something. I think she can look off in some photos because the camera catches her at a bad angle.

The 3rd photo down in the 2nd link, with Kate looking down at the Queen, all I can think is how short the Queen is. Kate towers above her!

Agree. Kate tends to theme dress and it doesn’t work in all situations. Meghan’s hat is giving me Carmen Sandiego vibes.

There were some pretty wacky hats last year. Meghan's this year seems positively sedate in comparison.

I wasn't saying it was wacky, more that the overall style of it was not in keeping with the usual "British Formal Event Hat". That's kind of a thing in the UK in general, not just for royals - I married a Brit and all the women from his side of the family were very focused on their hat selection for the event.

I really like Kate’s look today esp the colour of her trousers and the blockier heeled shoe, tho I’m not totally sold on the length of trousers but that’s all.
