There were 10x as many cringe moments this season that it gave me anxiety. Just learn to keep it simple, Midge! She'll do SO well for about 9/10 of the set and then BAM! ruins it right at the end. The moments with Lenny Bruce were... *chef kiss*. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a better series sendoff!

Just finished it last night and it was the weakest season so far for me, especially the first few episodes. Midge's humor wasn't as funny either, and I felt like there was less of it since most of her comedy was just doing short set ups before the burlesque show. It sort of redeemed itself in the last few episodes though and got me interested enough to tune in when they wrap up season 5.
Jane Lynch is one of the biggest bright spots for me. I love the Sophie Lennon character and always get a few laughs when she's on screen.
