His name is Peter? Whoa.
He is extremely difficult to tolerate. He's by far the most useless cast member on SNL, although he once did a bit with John Mulaney about the Clint Eastwood movie The Mule which was funny because John Mulaney clearly wrote it.
Some of his standup is on youtube, and it's not terrible, but it's not great either. I want to check out his new Netflix special just to see why his precious jokes require him to have audiences sign $1 million Non-Disclosure agreements before they are allowed to watch his shows.

I think he has serious mental health and addiction issues which makes it hard for me to snark on him.
HOWEVER,
I too am shocked at the women he's been able to date.

I believe we covered this in the Heartthrobs I Don’t Get thread. We covered a portion of his obnoxiousness there - specifically, "Why do women date him?" and "Why are people friends with him?" and "Why doesn't Lorne Michaels fire him?" I think there are so many other areas where he sucks that we have yet to delve into. |

Oh, I agree there is PLENTY of obnoxious to cover.
I was responding to why his list of female conquests is so confounding. I still chalk that up to his (alleged) gargantuan trouser snake.

It’s throwing me off that the thread title is Peter... haha. He’s never gone by that, right?
I don’t hate him and I don’t necessarily find him attractive, but honestly if I were some young model or recently famous ingenue or whatever, I would choose him over a douchey rapper or self-absorbed, conventionally attractive heartthrob for sure. He’s definitely that guy I would have crushed on back in high school, so in that way, I get the appeal. As far as his mental health and/or sobriety, I truly think he struggles and I wish him well.
