Good luck to them. As pointed out in the link, he's a 70 year old man in quarantine with a newborn and a child under two. My dad is 81 and I could not in a million years imagine him parenting and 11 year old. But...good luck and cheers and all that.

When my beloved 21 year old cat died four years ago, he left behind my 17 year old cat, Lucy. I was worried that Lucy would be lonely and decided she needed a kitten to nurture. I ended up getting two kittens. You know what I discovered a 17 year old cat doesn't want around in her senior years when she should be basking in her retirement, soaking up all of the attention? Kittens. She did not have the patience for their endless energy. She immediately was, "Awww heeeeelllll NO." I heard her hiss more times in a single week during the following two years than I had the previous 15 years. That's what I think about when I hear about these old guys fathering children.
Of course, fatherhood to these guys is probably just providing for them monetarily and they probably don't have much more involvement than a typical grandfather would. But it's kind of nice to think of a sleep deprived Richard Gere dealing with dirty diapers and baby/toddler vomit.

I've actually been wondering when we were going to be hearing about their baby announcement. When they got married, I recall the discussion here wondering how soon she'd be expecting.
With Chris Pratt, I'm just enjoying the Parks & Rec good news about the special episode coming up.
