This comment from Khloe on Ellen has me rolling my eyes:
First off, as if she doesn't know every single thing that was said. Secondly, acting like it was 3 people taking a weekend road trip to Santa Barbara. Sit the fuck down, Pinocchio Butt.

Kanye gave Kim a hologram of her late dad for her birthday. Of course the hologram says that Kanye is a genius.
Stars, they’re just like us!

I am so glad we are talking about this because everyone on Twitter was saying how sweet it was and I thought it was super creepy. When someone else called it creepy, another person defended it by saying Kim was such a young age when he died, that is why this is so meaningful. Wasn't she in her mid-twenties?

Yeah, Kim was like 23 when he died, not a child. And having this hologram praise Kanye? Just another example of his narcissism and mental illness. Super creepy, super uncool.

I do consider twenty-three kind of on the younger side to lose a parent--purely anecdotally, the only person I know who lost a parent before then had a very elderly father (and a huge age difference between her parents). It's definitely not the same as losing a parent while you're a child, though, of course.
The mere thought of this hologram is going to haunt me.

It's still super creepy! Kim was on the young side to lose a parent - not a child, but still someone who could expect to have their father around for another few decades. But still, I don't think having an undead hologram version of him makes up for it.

I didn't--and don't--mean to minimize the impact her dad's death had on Kim (or any of the K kids). I'm considerably older than 23 and still don't even want to think about it. I just think the K apologists who scream how she was "a child" are always going to have some reason to justify everything that family does. But still, I don't think having an undead hologram version of him makes up for it. Especially one whose main purpose is to tell her how great her husband is.
