Congratulations to him! I was a lukewarm TWD viewer but I really liked him on it. I want to see Minari, so I need to figure out where I can watch it.

I loved him on TWD and, boy, he got out when it was still a good show, so good on him! Have not seen Minari, but so excited for him!

I want to see Minari, so I need to figure out where I can watch it. Not sure if you're in the states, but if you are and amazon prime member, you can rent it for around $20, I think. I haven't rented it yet because I know I won't have time to watch it. Hopefully, before the Oscars, I'll be able to find time to watch it.

He was one of my favorites on TWD and I stopped watching when he left the show. Congrats to him on the nomination and I hope it means we'll see him in more high profile projects!

Amazingly happy for him!!!
It's shameful that it took until 2021 for this first.

I loved him so much on TWD that I stopped watching right before I knew his character was killed. Congrats to him! And pretty fucking sad that it's 2021 and it's the first time an Asian American is nominated for best actor. This country has such a long way to go.

I loved him so much on TWD that I stopped watching right before I knew his character was killed. I stopped watching after he died too! I honestly think a large part of the TWD fan base stopped watching when he died, not because of Steve, but Glenn was the only consistently likeable character in the show and they just killed him. Steve was also really good in Burning which is a Korean movie. I don't even know how to describe this movie. It was nothing I expected it to be. Honestly. Yoo Ah-In was the main character in it and he was great, as was Steve.

TWD lost all its heart when his character (and Abraham) was killed. It happened in the comics too but they’ve changed so many other things, they could have kept him. But he never would have been in this position if he was still on the show so it was meant to be.
I’m so happy for him and it’s shameful that this is the first leading nom for an Asian American actor ever.

I love Steve. TWD made a mistake when they killed him off it was never the same. I also get a laugh when I rewatch Steve and Conan visiting South Korea. They played off each other really well.
