I don't think that Marilyn Monroe style suits her at all. She looks like she is going to a costume party dressed up as Lady Gaga. It is a look that is so incredibly cliche. She also looks angry and over it. I think whoever styled that shoot should have put her in some odd Valentino, Chanel, or even Dior haute couture. I imagine something like thisor even thisAll that said, I know who she is, but I have never heard her music. |

I don't understand why she did this shoot. Hasn't her whole platform been that she didn't want to be objectified like women that wear lingerie for magazine covers are? Her dressing crazy and very baggy, covering everything up was her point.
This just doesn't make sense to me in anyway and I too think she looks like a Lady Gaga wannabe or dressing up for Halloween as Lady Gaga.

I am by no means a Kristen Stewart fan but I will say this: she's really good at mixing Chanel suits and other "grandmotherly" silhouettes with her otherwise punk look. If Billie wants to go the route of high fashion then she needs to study what KStew does, because this ultra glam Marilyn Monroe thing doesn't work on her at all. And it does come off hypocritical when she's made a thing over and over again about how anti-objectification she is.
She is young though so she's allowed to change her mind (you're allowed to change your mind at any age for that matter), but she needs to find her own point of view.
And "Bad Guy" is great until the last minute or so when it changes into a completely different song.
