I read the middle name is Vietnamese. Is that her heritage? Anyone know how to pronounce it?
I like Malcolm. Kind of old fashioned but hip.

According to Wiki, Munn's mother is Vietnamese with ethnic Chinese ancestry.

I’m still concerned about him having a baby so soon after rehab/divorce/new relationship, in whatever order is chronologically sound. Also, it feel odd having someone speak about not liking/ being comfortable around kids becoming a parent later on.

It’s odd how the headlines/articles say it’s their first child, as if they’re planning to have other kids together. I get that it’s the first child for each of them, but the way I read it makes it sound like they will have others.

Well, hopefully they'll continue to be able to afford nannies and other childcare help.

I read the middle name is Vietnamese. Is that her heritage? Anyone know how to pronounce it? I like Malcolm. Kind of old fashioned but hip. It’s hard to approximate in English since Vietnamese is a tonal language. The dot below the vowel is a “dấu nặng” which literally translates to “heavy sign”. There is some nuance with the vowel sounds, but I think the closest way to approximate it is saying “hee-ip” (all one syllable) or “heep” as if you were lifting something heavy (but not grunty, if that makes sense). This video demonstrates how that accent sounds with other words. Olivia spoke Vietnamese on one of her first Daily Show segments. It was terrible, but my Vietnamese pronunciation/accent was very terrible for a very long time, until I got a lot of practice while helping care for my grandmothers. I’m assuming she understands it more than she speaks it.

It happens very very frequently that people who are not big on kids come around when they have their own. It's also worth reminding that comedians do not always genuinely mean "I" or intend for everything to be biographical when they are on stage. They're going for the laugh - not for a genuine and authentic therapy session.

I hope their child will be OK because I’m not sure of the longevity of their relationship.
