The last thread was threatening to pop its clogs, so we didn't want to count it among the Recently Deceased.
Or Recently Diseased, as my aging eyes tend to read this title.
Carry on with those who are being carried off as we speak...

I absolutely LOVE the Chieftains/Stones collaboration on Rocky Road to Dublin on the Long Black Veil album. That whole CD is brilliant.

If you like the sound of tin whistles and an Irish lament here’s a beautiful farewell to Paddy from two old friends Finbar Furey ( The Fureys)and John Sheehan( The Dubliners)

Peter Scolari on Bosom Buddies was one of my first TV crushes. He was so adorable.

Awww, man, 66 is too young. I loved Bosom Buddies, too. He may not have become a huge star like Hanks, but he was in sooo many things and had a really great career. RIP, Sir.

Oh, no! He was great in every role, but I especially loved him on Newhart.

I had to do a double take when I saw that Peter Scolari died. He was such a charming actor and I had a bit of a crush on him as a kid, too.
