I’m scared to even put this out into the universe but has Tom Hanks made any kind of statement about Peter Scolari? I haven’t seen any social media posts or anything. They remained friends after Bosom Buddies and I kind of expected Hanks would make some kind of public statement about his friend’s passing. So since that hasn’t seemed to happen, I am just hoping TH is ok.

They remained friends after Bosom Buddies and I kind of expected Hanks would make some kind of public statement about his friend’s passing. So since that hasn’t seemed to happen, I am just hoping TH is ok. Tom Hanks seems not to have commented on Scolari’s death. But there’s been a bunch of press just in the past day about Tom Hanks’ promotion of his new Apple TV+ project and some cute stories about how he dropped in on a California beachfront wedding photo session, surprising the couple (which event I’m sure was timed to coincide with promotion for his new project). So Hanks seems to be active and working. Like you, everything I’d read about Scolari was that he and Hanks remained pretty tight for decades, so maybe it’s too painful for him to comment at all right now? I’m not a fan of the expectations placed on celebrities to comment immediately on some tragedy via social media, but I was a little surprised that Hanks didn’t issue a statement through his publicist after a few days. But it’s also possible that he’s in touch with Scolari’s family and they don’t want the attention Tom commenting on it would bring right now. Guess we may never know. |

Dean Stockwell has passed away.I’ve seen him in plenty but he will always be Al in the wonderful Quantum Leap. ( only watching an ep the other day) Rest easy Sir.
