She looked amazing at the event last night. The rubies! The velvet dress! Her trademark winged hairstyle!

I love the Burmese Ruby Tiara. This is the first time that I felt a colorful tiara Camilla has worn has looked good on her. Blue sapphires do nothing for her, but red is definitely her color. She looks fabulous.
I am ambivalent about Camilla. I can see that she too was a victim to a point. And as weird as it is, I would rather see Queen Camilla than Queen Diana. She would have eclipsed not only Charles but her children as well and I think we would end up with a mess much worse than Harry and Meghan.
But, I feel about Camilla as I do Angelina. I think Angelina is great but I will forever side-eye her for her involvement in breaking up a marriage because, it's just wrong.

If you'd told me in 1999 that Queen Camilla would draw this kind of crowd, I would've laughed hysterically. Camilla is keeping this whole show going at the moment.

That's what hard work, quiet dedication and keeping your mouth shut can achieve.

I know, it would have been hard to imagine how front and centre she has become. Those little girls with the signs for Catherine were so cute. I bet they were thrilled that the queen took them.

Oh me too! When I see a reference to the queen without a photo, I still think of QEII. But I do think Camilla is doing much better than I expected.

Pics from the state dinner with Japan. Tiaras worn were: - Camilla: Burmese Ruby - Masako: Imperial Chrysanthemum - Sophie: Lotus Flower, previously worn by Kate several times. Interesting--are tiaras going to be shared now instead of the lifetime loan system? - Brigitte, Duchess of Glouster: Cartier Indian

I wasn’t aware of the protocol or tradition around tiaras but I saw several comments about Sophie wearing Catherine’s tiara. I’d prefer to see C in a variety of tiaras. So I’m fine with this, if this is the new protocol.
Also, I used to love all those magnificent necklaces that the queen used to wear but they seem very dated and unappealing to me now.

I sort of thought that there's a big library of tiaras somewhere and you check out one for the evening, with the monarch's permission. And someone somewhere keeps track of who wears which one the most, and which tiara(s) is absolutely reserved for one royal head only.

I thought they had a group chat or What's App. Camilla calls dibs on what she wants, then Catherine, then Sophie.
