We don’t deserve Dolly. Also, I can’t wait for Dumplin’! Reviews of Dumplin are out and one reviewer calls the movie a Dolly Parton Greatest Hits album in movie form. Seems like a good holiday movie. |

And if it bags, sags or drags she gets it nipped, tucked, and sucked! Love her!! And can I stop to give thanks to Dolly's surgeon. She is one of the few ladies of her generation that still resembles her original incarnation. I saw Marlo Thomas on some show the other day, and recoiled in shock. Plastic surgery is supposed to make you look refreshed and soft, not taut and scary. Jane Fonda and Dolly could be making a handy commission by handing out the contact info for their doctors. |

Oh no. I was looking at pictures of her recently and she looks like she's 99% plastic, and not real at all. I was looking at very old pictures of her and she was so pretty. Now she's like a vague image of the blonde busty big haired person that we imagine Dolly Parton to look like. I found her face disturbing.

Watched Dumplin’ - good soundtrack if you love Dolly. Classic tracks and some new stuff. And I think more teenage girls should be obsessed with Dolly (one of the characters basically has a shrine to her with tons of pics, and yes - Dolly in the 70s was especially gorgeous. The shrine had this pic, which I’ve always loved. She does look a bit nipped and tucked now, but I honestly didn’t expect anything less. Dolly told us that was coming). |
