Dolly is also pretty small, like 5'2" at the most.

Dolly has always looked fake and plastic, and it is her thing. I agree that she was lovely when she was younger, but she never struck me as the type who would age gracefully - she'd fight it every step of the way.
And she is 20 kinds of awesome. She's got a great sense of humor, she's talented as all get-out, and she's generous as all get-out. Every kid who graduates from the high school in her home town is guaranteed a scholarship from if he/she wants it - and that's just one of the many things she does.

You couldn't try to put that girl down if you tried. She never hids the fact that she's got some "fake" things about her outside appearance, but her heart is pure GOLD.

She's a great performer, and I love her, but I literally gasped when I saw her face last night. She's never looked natural, but she looked like a parody of herself last night.
I started laughing hysterically at the part of the song that says something like, "I can't figure out where all my parts fit," because I thought it was horribly ironically funny.

She turned 60 in January, she and Carl will be married 40 years in May.
I love her, she just seems to be such a genuinely nice person.

I think she's like Cher-she knows she looks kind of silly, but she doesn't give a shit who knows it.
Plus, unlike Reese, she really IS a "lil ol' gal from Tennessee", one room cabin and all.

I just love her. It's an irrational love, but I still adore her and "9 to 5." She does her thing and is not ashamed of it. I think she's amazing.

I never had an opinion of her until I read the scholarship thing. That is so cool. She seems like an awesome person, and honestly, I would have loved to see her win last night. Especially since "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" was by far the worst song of the bunch.
