I went to see this last Thursday. I had no idea what to expect and I had not seen a full trailer. I did know it was from the director of La La Land which I had seen and enjoyed. Well I got surprised pretty quickly. This movie was pretty wild from start to finish. I would describe it as part Pulp Fiction part Cotton Club. It was pretty raunchy and pretty wild and way too long. It was every minute of 3 hours. In a way I am happy that I saw it at the theater as I would not have been able to sit through this at home in one complete sitting without getting distracted. I admire what the director was trying to accomplish with going out on a limb but I think he falls short. I don't think this will make much because of some of the more disgusting scenes will not appeal to a large part of the viewing public. This is definitely not a family Christmas movie that is for sure. Has anyone else seen this?

I'm seeing this tomorrow (or the Whitney movie). The trailers are VERY hyper, like a Baz Luhrmann movie. I don't know what to expect either.

I am very interested in Old Time Hollywood but the trailer of this turned me off because Margot Robbie's character looks like she's in a 1970s movie. I'll definitely watch it when it streams though.

After reading some...detailed...reviews, I don't think it's the kind of movie I can watch. Look forward to reading reactions from any Greecie viewers, though! (I see youtube has the choice of "explicit" and "non explicit" trailers...I was too chicken to try the explicit one, lol.)

I went to see Babylon knowing full well I haven't liked Chazelle's previous movies. Babylon entertained me for the first two hours, and then I wanted to slit my wrists. The third act is just loooong and boring as hell. Margot, Diego and Brad are pretty good, though.
