I loved her speech at the SAG awards. I was tearing up there.
On a superficial level she is so much more attractive than her character on L&O.

My BiL is a crew member on Law & Order and he says the crew has a lot of respect for her. She's a quilter, and when my niece was born SEM gave her a baby quilt she made. (BiL said she does that for all the crew's newborns.) I get the impression she's a very generous woman, in a non-self-aggrandizing way.
